About the Role

As a Press Operator, you'll be responsible for setting up and operating advanced CNC press machines to produce high-quality components for a variety of industries. Youll be working with state-of-the-art equipment, ensuring precision and efficiency in every project you handle. This is a hands-on, technical role that requires a sharp eye for detail and the ability to work independently, as well as part of a collaborative team

About the Client

Our client is a forward-thinking CNC company that specialises in precision laser cutting and Press brake machining. They are dedicated to delivering exceptional results, with a strong focus on innovation and continuous improvement.

Working Hours

This role will be based on 2 weekly shift patterns as below:

Day Shift: 06:00-14:00

Back Shift: 14:00-12:00

Pay Scale depending on experience:

Day Shift: £12.50 - £13.00

Overtime: Time and a half of your shift rate

Shift Rate: £15.00 - £15.60

Shift Overtime- overtime is available and is paid attime and a halfand during busy periods you may be asked to work overtime which could include extended shifts or shift changes.

Key Duties
  • Set up and operate CNC Bystronic press machines to produce parts according to specifications.

  • Ensure all components meet quality standards and tolerances.

  • Monitor machine performance, perform routine maintenance, and troubleshoot any issues.

  • Work closely with the production team to meet deadlines and maintain a smooth workflow.

  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment at all times.

Key Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Press Operator, ideally in a CNC or manufacturing environment.

  • Strong understanding of CNC machinery and programming.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

  • Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
