About the Role
As a Press Operator, you'll be responsible for setting up and operating advanced CNC press machines to produce high-quality components for a variety of industries. Youll be working with state-of-the-art equipment, ensuring precision and efficiency in every project you handle. This is a hands-on, technical role that requires a sharp eye for detail and the ability to work independently, as well as part of a collaborative team
About the ClientOur client is a forward-thinking CNC company that specialises in precision laser cutting and Press brake machining. They are dedicated to delivering exceptional results, with a strong focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
Working HoursThis role will be based on 2 weekly shift patterns as below:
Day Shift: 06:00-14:00
Back Shift: 14:00-12:00
Pay Scale depending on experience:
Day Shift: £12.50 - £13.00
Overtime: Time and a half of your shift rate
Shift Rate: £15.00 - £15.60
Shift Overtime- overtime is available and is paid attime and a halfand during busy periods you may be asked to work overtime which could include extended shifts or shift changes.
Key DutiesSet up and operate CNC Bystronic press machines to produce parts according to specifications.
Ensure all components meet quality standards and tolerances.
Monitor machine performance, perform routine maintenance, and troubleshoot any issues.
Work closely with the production team to meet deadlines and maintain a smooth workflow.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment at all times.
Proven experience as a Press Operator, ideally in a CNC or manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of CNC machinery and programming.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
