About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a dynamic rail project in Northumberland. This is a 3-month contract position, offering an exciting opportunity to work on a high-profile infrastructure project within the rail industry. As an Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the electrical installations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and managing a team of electricians on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the electrical works on-site to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Manage and support a team of electricians, ensuring they have clear direction and support.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure all electrical work is compliant with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Liaise with site management and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Review and approve work schedules, drawings, and specifications for electrical systems.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in line with health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying any potential delays or issues.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an Electrical Supervisor, ideally in the rail sector.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and installations in a construction or infrastructure environment.
  • Valid ECS card (Electrical) or equivalent.
  • SSSTS and PTS.
  • Experience working with rail industry standards and regulations.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team of electricians effectively.
  • A proactive approach to health and safety on-site.
