Job Title: Electrical Supervisor (Rail)

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a dynamic rail project in Northumberland. This is a 3-month contract position, offering an exciting opportunity to work on a high-profile infrastructure project within the rail industry. As an Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the electrical installations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and managing a team of electricians on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the electrical works on-site to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Manage and support a team of electricians, ensuring they have clear direction and support.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure all electrical work is compliant with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Liaise with site management and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Review and approve work schedules, drawings, and specifications for electrical systems.
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying any potential delays or issues.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Electrical Supervisor, ideally in the rail sector.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and installations in a construction or infrastructure environment.
- Valid ECS card (Electrical) or equivalent.
- SSSTS and PTS.
- Experience working with rail industry standards and regulations.
- Ability to lead and manage a team of electricians effectively.
- A proactive approach to health and safety on-site.
