About the Role

The school is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Site Manager to oversee the maintenance, security, and smooth running of our school premises. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the security of the school premises, including locking/unlocking buildings and responding to alarms.

  • Carry out routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs to keep the school in excellent condition.

  • Manage cleaning, waste disposal, and grounds maintenance.

  • Oversee contractors and liaise with external agencies regarding site-related projects.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain relevant records.

  • Support staff with setting up for events and activities.

  • Manage stock of supplies and equipment.

  • Report any maintenance issues and plan necessary repairs.

Person Specification:
  • Experience in site management, facilities maintenance, or a related field.

  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.

  • Strong practical skills in general maintenance, repairs, and DIY.

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Good communication skills and a friendly, proactive attitude.
