Are you a skilled and experienced hoist operative looking for a new contract position? We currently have an excellent opening working on a major commercial project in Newcastle. This is an opportunity to contribute to a high-profile project and work with a reputable and experienced team.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely and efficiently operate a construction hoist, ensuring adherence to all relevant safety regulations and procedures.
  • Load and unload materials, equipment, and personnel using the hoist.
  • Conduct daily pre-shift inspections and report any issues or defects.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Communicate effectively with site personnel and supervisors.
  • Assist with other tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating construction hoists.
  • Valid CPCS or equivalent hoist operating certification.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in a construction environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.
