Are you a skilled and experienced hoist operative looking for a new contract position? We currently have an excellent opening working on a major commercial project in Newcastle. This is an opportunity to contribute to a high-profile project and work with a reputable and experienced team.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a construction hoist, ensuring adherence to all relevant safety regulations and procedures.
- Load and unload materials, equipment, and personnel using the hoist.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections and report any issues or defects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Communicate effectively with site personnel and supervisors.
- Assist with other tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating construction hoists.
- Valid CPCS or equivalent hoist operating certification.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in a construction environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.
