Are you an experienced Senior Building Surveyor seeking an exciting opportunity with a world-leading multidisciplinary construction consultancy? We are looking for a dynamic and knowledgeable Senior Building Surveyor to join our client's growing team in Newcastle.

As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality surveying services across a range of sectors, including commercial, residential, and public projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct building surveys, inspections, and assessments to identify defects, necessary repairs, and overall condition.
  • Provide expert advice on building regulations, safety, and environmental considerations.
  • Manage and oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Prepare detailed reports, schedules of condition, and specifications.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Mentor and support junior surveyors, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Chartered status (MRICS) is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in building surveying, preferably within a consultancy environment.
  • Comprehensive understanding of UK building regulations and construction standards.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
