SPV /PFI Project Manager - Variations and Lifecyle

Our client is a leading infrastructure investor with a number of operation assets looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to oversee a number of lifecycle and variation works. The project Manager will support the wider operations team with identfying, planning and overseeing a programe of variations and lifecycle works, providing technical expertise and managing risk.

Would suit someone with a FM / SPV or consultency background.

£65K - £75K salary, up to 20% bonus, 10% pension contribution, hybrid working and 28 days annual leave.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the wider Lifecyle team to develop a long term programme for lifecycle and variation projects, aligned to contractual obligations and legislative requirements
  • End to end management of a range of lifecycle and variation projects ensuring both delivery compliance against budget / timescales and also quality assurance.
  • Oversee and work closely with appointed contractors, consultants and supplies to ensure projects are delivered efficiently.
  • Own all project documentation ensuring accurate updates are readily available
  • Provide regular progress reports to key stakeholders, identifying and managing risk
  • Manage key relationships, providing regular updates, scoping works and agreeing activities.
  • Monitor the H&S compliance for the projects ensuring contractual and legislative obligations are met at all times.
  • Provide technical expertise to the wider SPV team

Skills, Experiences and Qualifications

  • Degree educated with role specific qualification e.g. Quantity Surveying or Construction Project Management
  • Experience of operational PFI project management
  • Experience and understanding of lifecycle principles
  • Good understanding of project management methodology
  • Experienced in costing, resource allocation and budgeting complex projects
