We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Trainer/Assessor to deliver a range of "Essential Work Skills" programmes. This role is ideal for individuals with vocational expertise in sectors such as manufacturing, construction, logistics, business improvement, and health and safety. The successful candidate will facilitate both workplace and classroom training for learners aged 19+, aiding their entry into employment or further education and supporting their progression in current roles.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Deliver engaging and impactful training sessions in areas such as Performing Manufacturing Operations (PMO), Business Improvement Techniques (BIT), Warehousing, Health and Safety, and more.
  • Support learners with tailored Information Advice and Guidance and tutorial sessions, fostering career readiness.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess programmes that inspire and achieve results.
  • Create and maintain high-quality learning materials and learner documentation.
  • Conduct robust initial and diagnostic assessments.
  • Develop detailed Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) for all learners and provide regular reviews.
  • Contribute to team and course effectiveness through active participation in meetings and curriculum development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven success in delivering training programmes.
  • Delivery experience in manufacturing, logistics, or construction is highly valued.
  • Strong ICT and administrative skills, with the ability to manage paperwork effectively.
  • A commitment to core values, safeguarding, and inclusivity.
  • Relevant teaching or assessor qualifications, or willingness to work towards obtaining them.
  • Background in construction or manufacturing is essential.
