Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Internal Verifier to join their national training company

The role entails (but is not limited to):

  • Reviewing and verifying assessments and portfolios ensuring they are conducted to the appropriate standard and providing accurate and fair evaluations.
  • Working closely with trainers and assessors to maintain and improve the quality of training programmes.
  • Working closely with senior management to identify opportunities for growth and development of further training programmes.
  • Providing feedback to assessors based on their performance.
  • Ensure all training and assessments meet relevant legislation, guidelines and policies.
  • Providing support and guidance to assessors and trainers and providing training sessions to ensure quality.
  • Conducting standardisation meetings.
  • Maintaining accurate records, feedback and outcomes.
  • Facilitating external quality assurance visits as required.
  • Conducting observations with the assessors by carrying out learning walks and one-to-one's.

A successful candidate will have:

  • A valid Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) qualification (e.g Level 4 award in Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice or similar).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • A strong understanding of the awarding boy's requirements.
  • An understanding of the Ofsted framework and quality improvement process.

This is a home-based role where travel will be required at key times of the year between the head office, training hubs and external providers.

Working hours are 37.5 per week with flexible working considered.

The salary for this role is competitive subject to experience and qualifications.
