Azure Data Engineer - Newcastle - £65,000
I am working with a well-known organisation based in Newcastle who are looking for an experienced Azure Data Engineer to join their successful team. You will be joining a business who holds its data at the centre of its decision-making process. As such, you will be joining a valued function where your work will contribute to the ongoing success of the business.
In this role you will be responsible for the ongoing architect, design and development of the Azure Data Platform. You will work on the full end to end product lifecycle and ensure that data is ready for the analytics team to deliver key business insights to stakeholders.
As a senior member of the team, you will also coach and mentor more junior members, offering advice and leading by example when it comes to delivering best practice principles. You will also be joining a business which holds the professional development of its team at the core of its business values. You will be encouraged to constantly upskill and opportunities for progression are available across the IT function.
This is a hybrid role based out of the organisation Newcastle HQ. The role is a full-time, permanent position paying up to £65,000 depending on experience. There is also a company benefits package which includes but is not limited to the following -

To be successful in the role you will have.
- Strong Azure Data Platform experience
- Strong understanding of Databricks
- Coding experience with both Python/PySpark and SQL
- Experience working with Azure Data Factory for creating ETL solutions
