Teaching Assistant - Newcastle

Milk Education are recruiting for a purpose-driven, ambitious Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in Newcastle to work on a long-term basis starting ASAP!

You’ll be joining a supportive school who are dedicated to providing quality education in a safe, secure and happy learning environment.

This is an exciting role for a new or experienced educator to join a fantastic school to support pupils in reaching their potential!

What You’ll Be Doing in the Role:

  • Promoting inclusion and acceptance of all students
  • Delivering catch-up sessions
  • Supporting pupils consistently whilst responding to their individual needs
  • Working with the class teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/work plans as appropriate

Essential Qualifications:

  • Must have recent and relevant experience in an education setting
  • Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Holds a Level 2/3 qualification (CACHE, Childcare, NNEB, Etc.) or relevant childcare experience
  • Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher
