This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior or Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to work at the cutting edge of marine technology, developing critical equipment for naval vessels.
This role involves full-lifecycle technical improvement, from capturing customer requirements and concept design through to manufacturing support, testing, and installation.
Principal/ Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Package:

Principal/ Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical Engineer (or equivalent experience)
Experience in regulated industries, preferably within the marine or offshore oil and gas sector
Proven ability to lead technical project delivery
Knowledge of BS EN 8888, BS EN 22553, and relevant engineering drawing standards
Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems, 2D and 3D CAD software (AutoCAD, Creo)
Candidates must meet the criteria for UK BPSS or SC Clearance
Principal/ Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Responsibilities:
Lead the technical delivery of multi-disciplinary projects, providing guidance and expertise to the team
Develop Mechanical Engineer solutions from requirements capture through to product development, commissioning, and in-service support
Drive R&D and Continuous Improvement initiatives
Provide technical guidance to internal departments, suppliers, and customers
Manage supplier interactions and offer technical assistance to ensure seamless delivery.
