Job Title: Architectural Technologist

Salary: £32-40,000 dependent on experience
I am excited to be supporting a well-established Architectural practice in Newcastle who utilise their over four decades of experience to deliver innovative and sustainable design solutions. Their diverse portfolio of projects span the heritage, commercial and education sectors with a specialist focus on residential developments and master planning. They have a talented team comprised of Architects, Architectural Technologist, and urban designers. Their collaborative work culture fosters creativity and professional development presenting an excellent opportunity for a passionate Architectural Technologist to become an integral member of this highly reputable, successful practice.
The successful Architectural Technologist will have post qualification experience working alongside house builders on residential projects, with proficiency in AutoCAD and a keen eye for detail.
Skills, Experience and Responsibilities for the role of Architectural Technologist:
- Degree or HND/ HNC in Architectural Technology or relevant subject
- CIAT member working towards Chartership
- Experience working on medium - large scale projects
- Proven record working with housebuilders on larger residential projects
- Proficiency with AutoCAD is essential
- Job running experience is preferred
- Excellent technical drawing
- Strong portfolio
- Experience post qualification experience in a UK Architectural practice
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Attentiveness to detail
- Proven record across all RIBA stages
- Ability to produce high quality residential layout plans
- Work well independently and in a team
- Keen to input to company growth
- Driven for continued professional development keeping up with technological advances
- Live locally to Newcastle Upon Tyne
