The OpportunityAn exciting opportunity exists for a either a proven Cyber Security Architect or an Technical Architect with both Cyber Security and cloud experience, to join this enterprise scale dynamic organisation as they continue to deliver complex digital transformational solutions.This is a key role within the Cyber Security team with accountability for the definition of the security solutions and service architecture for applications, information and infrastructure as they continue to transform the underlying IT supporting the business.  You will be expected to be in the office at least 1 day a week. Our client does provide visa sponsorship.The RoleIn joining an established Cyber Security Architectural team, in this additional role, you will work on a range of projects including cloud migrations, data platform implementations, network refresh and other complex large scale application systems. Specifically you will:
  • Work with business areas to understanding and shape their security requirements, ensuring that customer data and other assets are secured, whilst enabling open and modern secure digital services.
  • Be accountable for the control of the IT Security Blueprints which define the end state architecture, current state and the transition roadmaps for the business, including supporting the creation and execution of technology and service roadmaps that will further drive increasing use of cloud technology for strategic systems whilst decommissioning a large proportion of the legacy.   
  • Provide security advice and key constraints to technology teams team in ensuring project deliveries remain aligned to the Blueprints and help to realise the roadmap.
  • Be actively involved in creating and maintaining IT requirements for procuring IT services and the selection of 3rd party providers delivering IT services and working closely with them to provide solutions for the Business, however some of the solutioning will be brought in-house.   
The PersonWith proven experience in developing and implementing security solution and enterprise architecture and design strategies, gained from either being a Cyber Security Architect or a Technical Architect, you will possess:
  • Proven ability to undertake detailed security analysis of technical designs and provide the business with security assurance of supplier designs and proposals. 
  • Broad technical knowledge covering web applications and services, information, infrastructure, cloud and managed service architectures. 
  • Experience of emerging security technologies to mainstream business, including: Cloud technology; Mobile devices and apps; Collaborative working tools.   
Most importantly you will have effective stakeholder management skills and able to present to and influence a wide range of people.Industry recognised qualifications such as CISSP will be beneficial.
