My national client with local offices in NE & Cumbria are looking for an experienced Employment Coach to support young people into employment covering Northumberland, Newcastle & North Tyneside on a contract basis until March 2025.

As an Employment Coach you will be responsible for the delivery of the Tyne & Wear & Northumberland programme.. Supporting & providing high quality IAG provision through participant led packages of tailored support to help reduce worklessness.

As a Coach you will be responsible for engaging with Economically Inactive and/or Unemployed participants, with multiple barriers to employment.
This will be done on a one to one and group basis coaching and monitoring, identifying and addressing their barriers to work through proactive intervention, pre-employment training and effective signposting.

The primary objective of the role is to carry out community engagement of participants and progress participants into work and achieve sustained employment.

You will be required to engage with local employers & partner organisations supporting volunteering opportunities and sourcing job vacancies to match the requirements of participants in order to meet targets.

DUTIES
To engage directly with participants at outreach locations & provide high quality accredited information, advice & guidance to support participants into pre-employment & employment progression routes.

To build effective rapport & holistic support to participants throughout their journey with a delivery model that includes: health & wellbeing personal development sessions.

To establish & maintain effective relationships with both internal and external partners to support new referrals and specialist intervention provision.

Identify work exp & vacancies, matching job-ready learners to the vacancies in order to meet individual and team weekly job targets.

Establishing and maintaining contact with local employers to maximise employment and specialist provision opportunities for participants

Actively participate, contribute and develop all marketing and promotional initiatives

Provide monthly and quarterly reports

Performance Targets:
Effective Caseload Management
Achievement of targets & outputs imposed by the funder
All reporting Information completed and submitted as and when requested by Youth Programme Manager

Quality Targets:
Performance Management System maintained
Customer Service Standards adhered to at all times.

Additional responsibilities
To be aware of, & assume the appropriate level of responsibility for, safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults & to report any concerns in accordance with the organisations safeguarding policies
Ability to work outside normal office hours.
Any other duties commensurate with the level of the post
