Creative Programme Manager

Location: Newcastle upon Tyne

Salary: £53,880 - £57,236 per annum

The Role

Following the approval of a 10 year investment plan in events that includes a mix of self produced events, community events and commercial events, the Council is looking to recruit a dynamic, experienced Creative Programme Manager to lead on the production of 2 key self developed events, Novum - Newcastle Summer Festival and a Winter Festival, while supporting the growth of other events in the city.

This is an exciting time for Culture in the City of Newcastle and you will play a pivotal role in the growth of events that will have community engagement at their heart, while appealing to a growing regional, national and international audience.

Skills and Qualifications

They require someone who has significant experience of developing and delivering creative programmes, commissioning and managing artists, performers and creative practitioners, working with children and young people and working in partnership and collaborating with a wide range of organisations, agencies, artists & performers and community groups.
