JDI Legal are currently working with an established and respected Legal 500 law firm in Newcastle to recruit an experienced HR Manager for their growing office.

This is a brand new expansionary role for a respected business who are ranked in Chambers and offer a secure and supportive working environment. This is very much an exciting opportunity for someone to come in and work onsite from their centrally based offices and make the role their own. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the HR function including recruitment, employee relations, training and development, performance management and compliance with employment laws and regulations.

Qualifications :

HR Management, recruitment and Employee Relations skills

Training and Development, Performance Management expertise

Knowledge of employment law and regulations

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Strong organisational and problem solving abilities

Experience of working in an HR function in the legal industry would be a bonus but other professional services sectors would be considered.

Bachelors Degree in HR, Business Administration or related field.

The individual will work closely with the practice manager and report into the partners.
