SF Executive have been retained by high growth, PE backed business with offices in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Newcastle to find them a PE experienced, commercially astute and hands on Chief Financial Officer for their SME business. Working in the services space , this company is uniquely positioned to own the market in which it operates through leveraging a combination of software, people and a top tier client base. As FD / CFO you will work with the CEO and Board to drive performance improvements and set and drive strategy. You will cover all financial and management reporting, producing best in class financial data and dashboards such that decisions can be made and backed up by both the numbers and sound logic. For this role, we are fishing in two pools - FD candidates with private equity experience, looking for that first No 1 role in a standalone business - CFOs with private equity experience, that have had fundraising or exit experience that are looking to bring their experience to bear in a more dynamic environment. As well as a solid package, there will be an opportunity to gain equity in the business over time and also to work on fundraising / business divestment activity in the future. You will need to be willing to spend time across their three locations - we wouldn't be looking to relocate someone for this role and really need someone based in Scotland / the North East.
