Finance Manager
We are seeking to recruit a commercially minded Finance Manager with a proven track record in delivering high-quality financial reporting and analysis within a fast-paced environment, to join a highly respected business. This is a key role within the finance team, responsible for delivering insightful financial reporting, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring the smooth running of month-end processes.
The successful candidate will play a critical part in providing financial analysis to senior stakeholders, and supporting ongoing improvements within the finance function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounting transactions and balance sheet reconciliations
- Produce detailed variance analysis on key financial drivers such as customer numbers, consumption volumes, pricing, and costs
- Prepare and deliver monthly financial performance reports for executive and Board-level review
- Act as the main point of contact for external auditors
- Prepare VAT and corporate tax returns in coordination with Group tax advisors
- Manage cost allocations, pricing structures, and transfers
- Provide financial modelling and analysis to support the commercial team, particularly around customer demand, costing, and margin strategy
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Experience in a similar finance role
- Strong understanding of financial and accounting practices
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office tools
- Experience using financial accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on delivering actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial data clearly and concisely to non-financial stakeholders
