Reed Finance is working exclusively with a rapidly growing, market-leading business at the forefront of the scientific sector.  Our client is looking to appoint a CFO in a newly created position, offering an exciting opportunity to lay the foundations of the finance department and play a crucial role in the company's expansion and investment initiatives. This opening is ideal for a visionary finance professional who is ready to lead, drive growth and build a team.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's goals.
  • Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and investments.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and members of the executive management team.
  • Manage the processes for financial forecasting and budgets and oversee the preparation of all financial reporting.
  • Advise on long-term business and financial planning.
  • Establish and develop relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders.
  • Review all formal finance, HR, and IT related procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as CFO, finance officer or relevant role.
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices.
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office and Xero).
  • Ability to strategise and solve problems.
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
