Corporate Finance Manager / Corporate Finance Senior

The Firm

A leading accountancy firm in the region are excited to be offering a rarely available opportunity to join their Corporate Finance team as Corporate Finance Manager or Corporate Finance Senior where you will joining an experienced Corporate Finance Partner with extensive exposure to mergers and acquisitions alongside strong connections across the north east of England.

The opportunity

Based in the region working out of two key major hubs Newcastle and Darlington, serving both Northumberland, Tyneside, County Durham and Teesside clientele this is an exceptional chance to collaborate closely with an expert in the market and develop your skills further in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will be perfectly placed to play a pivotal role in driving growth of the firm in a competitive financial landscape.

The Corporate Finance team are responsible for all financial transactions undertaken by their client portfolio (mainly OMB) including Mergers & Acquisitions, managing and investing large funds and buying and selling financial protects. The role is accountable for the complete process of handling large transactions, from planning and research through to execution and delivery of the deal.

You will be heavily involved in meeting with clients, understanding their requirements, preparing analysis, drafting financial models, business plans, all aspects of due diligence and supporting the Corporate Finance Partner in the delivery of transactions.

What we are looking for:

Minimum ACA/ACCA/CA qualified

3 years minimum (for Senior), 4 years (for Manager) experience working in the accounting profession with exposure / experience in Corporate Finance

Outgoing, confident personality who is enjoys meeting clients and networking and is able to forge relationships with ease.

A curious mind with the ability to ask difficult questions at times at the same time as deal with sensitive and confidential information.

A passion for working in the corporate finance field.
