We are working with an accountancy firm who provide tax compliance and advisory services to a mixture of large corporate clients and local owner managed businesses. They are looking to appoint a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager to support the team in the delivery of services in one of their north east offices.

Joining an enthusiastic and motivated team you will manage your own client portfolio with minimal support from senior staff. Working independently you will start to foster your own client relationships at the same time as delivering on revenue and profitability targets.

Your day to day will see you managing a variety of compliance matters, acting as the first point of contact with clients and working closely with them to understand their business developments and ensure they are up to date on their compliance obligations. This will extend to any legislative changes and helping them assess the impact.

You will be involved in reviewing tax returns and computations and ensuring any risk is managed in line with internal procedures. With a curious mind you will also ensure you keep abreast of any legislative changes or information that might impact your clients tax affairs.

To be considered for the position of Assistant Corporate Tax Manager we require an experienced tax professional who is working in a practice environment with either previous corporate tax or mixed tax experience. You will ideally have worked with multiple sectors and be used to the diversity that comes with the varied client base.

Relevant corporate tax experience is paramount however qualifications in CTA/ACA/ACCA/CA would be beneficial.
