KCR Solutions are working with this growing manufacturing company based on the outskirts of Newcastle, in their search for a Finance Manager. You will take full ownership of the finance function and oversee a small team. This is a 'hands on' role and a fantastic opportunity to join the business in a time of change and growth.

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Profit and loss accounts
  • Budget preparation
  • Cashflow forecasting
  • Variance analysis
  • VAT returns
  • Producing KPI’s and other ad-hoc information for management
  • Supervision of small accounts team and mentoring staff
  • Managing aged debt
  • Year end statutory accounts production
  • Maintenance of fixed asset register
  • Accruals and prepayments
  • Ad-hoc projects as required

You will ideally be CIMA qualified (those actively studying or qualified by experience will be considered) and have experience working in the manufacturing sector. You will be an individual who is able to challenge and who has a desire to make improvements, look at efficiencies, processes and systems. This is a growing family owned business, the Directors are keen to recruit someone who is passionate, ambitious and will play a major part in driving the business forward.
