Conveyancer / Conveyancing Fee Earner

£30-38,000 per annum

(up to £5,000 commission each year)

Conveyancers are required to join a Newcastle-based well-known business permanently on a remote working basis.

As a Conveyancer / Fee Earner Conveyancer, you will ideally have a conveyancing Qualification or CILEX qualification or alternatively highly experienced in residential conveyancing.

Conveyancer Fee Earner duties include;

  • Providing conveyancing auction transactions through to completion with set timeframes as required
  • Working on a range of different transactions with varying levels of complexity including repossession, those from probate matters, and overseas investors
  • Managing two conveyancing assistants who will support you with your conveyancing caseload
  • Draft legal documents as required for both purchases and sales
  • Check land registry documents and title deeds for unregistered land
  • Providing good customer service promptly with updates both by phone and by email

As the Conveyancing Fee Earner, you will have;

  • Experience of a minimum of 12 months of conveyancing experience
  • Conveyancing qualification, CILEX, or significant experience in residential conveyancing
  • Experience of unregistered property and title checks on leasehold
  • Have experience in handling high-volume caseloads of 60+
