Wraparound Care Club Leader

Prospero Teaching are seeking to appoint a Wraparound Care Club Leader for an Out of School Club Facility based at a Primary School in Newcastle upon Tyne. The club operates from 7:30am until 8:50am and 3:15pm until 6:00pm daily during term-time. The role is a Permanent Contract.

This post is to ensure the effective operation of the Wraparound Club, overseeing all aspects of the facility's operation on a day-to-day basis. This includes:

This role will involve:

• The supervision of Wraparound Club Assistants;
• Managing the administration and planning for the service;
• The supervision of pupils attending the Club;
• Provision of appropriate activities;
• Securing the pupils safety;
• Monitoring well-being and ensuring good behaviour.

This role requires:

• An Enhanced DBS (ideally on the Update Service but this is not essential as we can process a new one for you)
• Experience of working with young people in the UK.
• An ability to build positive relationships and a rapport with pupils and staff.
• A resilient, proactive, and positive nature.
• High levels of enthusiasm, energy and positivity when working with pupils.
• A genuine passion for helping young people to fulfil their potential.
• An enthusiastic approach and a willingness to engage with and form positive relationships with pupils.
