We are looking for a dedicated Night Senior Care Assistant to join our team at our welcoming residential care home in Newcastle upon Tyne, specialising in elderly care and dementia. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a night care team and provide high-quality care to our residents, ensuring they receive the support and respect they deserve.

Your Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the night care team, ensuring the smooth running of the home during night shifts
- Provide personal care and support with daily living activities, promoting independence and dignity
- Administer medication and monitor residents' health in accordance with individual care plans
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation and care records
- Support and mentor junior care staff, fostering a collaborative team environment
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
What We're Looking For:
- Experience as a Care Assistant with strong knowledge of elderly care
- Previous experience in a senior or supervisory role is preferred
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it)
- Training in Medication Administration
- Compassion, patience, and excellent communication skills
- Ability to lead a team and work independently on night shifts
- A commitment to providing high-quality, person-centred care
