Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and support junior healthcare staff during night shifts to ensure high-quality care delivery.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medication safely and in line with care plans.
  • Personal Care: Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and maintaining residents' comfort throughout the night.
  • Care Plans: Ensure care plans are followed accurately and updated as required.
  • Monitoring & Reporting: Observe residents for any changes in condition, report concerns, and ensure proper documentation.
  • Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe environment, ensuring all health and safety regulations are adhered to.
Requirements
  • Experience: Prior experience in a healthcare setting, with a focus on medication administration and support for individuals with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, physical disabilities, sensory impairments, and younger adults.
  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate staff effectively.
  • Knowledge: Sound understanding of the needs of individuals with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, and physical or sensory impairments.
  • Flexibility: Must be available to work night shifts on a 4-night week schedule, including alternate weekends.
