The School and Role
A Primary School based in West Newcastle Are looking for a Reception Teaching Assistant to work full-time from March 2025. The successful applicant will be offering SEND support to a child in Reception, who is awaiting a place at a Specialist provision. The school are looking for someone who is passionate, patient and knowledgeable of supporting a child with SEND and look forward to welcoming a new member of staff to their vibrant team. This role will be ongoing until July 2025.
Requirements
The desired Teaching Assistant will:
- Preferably have experience of supporting in Early Years.
- Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification.
- Be able to support pupils through offering differentiated learning.
- Have an ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A friendly and enthusiastic personality.
- Have excellent knowledge of supporting children with SEND.
