The School and Role

A large First School situated in Newcastle Upon Tyne are seeking to employ an Early Years Teaching Assistant to work full-time. The leadership team are looking for an enthusiastic, pro-active and committed Teaching Assistant to join their vibrant team and support in a Reception class. The class consists of 28 pupils, with varying needs. This is a long-term role with potential to turn permanent and the school has excellent public transport routes.

Requirements

The desired Teaching Assistant will:
- Preferably have experience of supporting in Early Years.
- Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification.
- Be able to support pupils through offering differentiated learning.
- Have an ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A friendly and enthusiastic personality.
