SEMH Support Assistant

Newcastle upon Tyne (Full Time)

The School and Role

We are looking to appoint an SEMH Support Assistant within a partner school in the Newcastle upon Tyne area. The school have had a number of referrals who are all seeking 1:1 support before they start. As an SEMH Support Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the young person in accessing the curriculum and engaging in lessons. You will report to the pastoral lead directly with daily updates on progress and behaviour. 

The successful SEMH Support Assistant will be dedicated, adaptable and be able to build rapport quickly. Due to the nature of the role, this will be full time and long term so only apply if you can commit to this.
