Are you an education expert? We are currently seeking an experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant for a secondary school-based job to start from February half term (or sooner). We are supporting a secondary school based in Newcastle Upon Tyne, Northeast (NE3 5HP) with a full time, job vacancy for a secondary school Teaching Assistant (SEMH).

If you are an experienced secondary school teacher who has worked with pupils with SEMH who is available from February 2025 and would like to discuss a new secondary teaching job opportunity in the Northeast, we would be keen to speak with you. This secondary school-based teaching job is offered on a full-time basis however a more flexible working pattern can be discussed depending on your personal working requirements. We have a number of posts available as the SEMH provision is expanding across the trust. Ideally, you will be an experienced secondary teaching assistant who has supported pupils with SEMH needs within KS3 or KS4. The role will be long term, temporary to begin with however you will have the opportunity to apply on a permanent basis later in the academic year.
