Jackson Hogg are delighted to be exclusively working with a global business based in Newcastle with the appointment of an HR Manager.

This is a newly created permanent position and will work closely alongside the COO to create, develop and embed an HR function and strategy.

As HR Manager you'll be responsible for:

  • Setting up the HR function including designing policies and procedures, frameworks and templates within multiple countries
  • Creation and delivery of the HR strategy and agenda to support overall business objectives, promote a happy and healthy workplace and business growth
  • Support with day to day HR and people related queries, advice and guidance
  • Manage ER, absence and performance across the business
  • The recruitment lifecycle including; understanding business requirements, advertising, interviews, onboarding and offboarding
  • Making use of the existing HR system - ensuring it is being utilised correctly, rolling out training to managers and colleagues
  • Talent and management development initiatives and delivery
  • Coaching and supporting business leaders with HR related matters
  • Employee engagement, wellbeing, EDI and CSRinitiatives
  • Keeping up to date with HR legislation and advising the business on best practice

This is a really exciting opportunity to be part of a business that has already had great success and values it's people, reputation and culture. The role is stand alone and based in Newcastle with travel required to two other sites in the North East and occasional travel to three other offices globally.

Our client offers flexibility to work from home up to 4 days / month but is primarily office based.

We are keen to speak with experienced HR generalists who have a CIPD level 5 qualification and proactive, hands on experience working in fast paced environments. You'll be a self-starter with a passion to add value and make a difference in the workplace, and have proven experience partnering with senior leaders to influence, challenge and coach.
