Three Bridges Recruitment is currently partnering with a highly respected legal firm, based in Newcastle City Centre, to recruit an experienced HR Adviser.

Job

The role of HR Adviser will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:

  • Assisting in the management of HR services, policies, and strategies
  • Advising employees on HR issues
  • Developing and maintaining communication with managers, colleagues, and external parties
  • Managing recruitment and on-boarding processes
  • Consulting on workplace relations, performance management and training
  • Handling payroll administration
  • Overseeing grievance and disciplinary procedures
  • Conducting exit interviews
  • Producing HR reports and contributing to projects
  • Keeping up-to-date with HR best practices and employment legislation
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance with legal bodies
  • Improving HR systems and practices
  • Regular branch and office visits, including travel to Scotland and England

You

As an HR Adviser you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:

  • Significant experience in a generalist HR role
  • Solid knowledge of employment law and legislation
  • Proven advice and support to management on strategic HR matters
  • Expertise in leading HR projects and implementing new initiatives
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages
  • Understanding of HR policies and best practice on recruitment and selection
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Organisational skill to structure workloads effectively
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
  • Drivers Licence (desirable)
  • Human Resources or related degree, or CIPD qualification at minimum level 5 (desirable)
