Design and Technology (DT) TechnicianNewcastle Temporary basis ASAP Start Must have an enhanced DBS registered to the update serviceWe are currently supporting a Newcastle School who is seeking a dedicated and skilled Design and Technology (DT) Technician to join their team on a full-time, temporary basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for supporting students and staff in the DT department.Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, set up, and maintain equipment and materials for DT lessons.
  • Assist teachers and students during practical lessons and projects.
  • Ensure all equipment is used safely and maintained in good working order.
  • Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
  • Support the development and implementation of health and safety policies.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to students on their projects.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience as a DT Technician or in a similar role.
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of DT equipment and materials.
