Salary: £33,000 - £35,000 + Bonus & OvertimeReference: DP151

Working Hours:

  • Flexible Working Pattern (4-Day Week):
    • 40 hours between Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM
    • Saturdays: Paid as overtime
    • Part-Time Work: Available to discuss during the interview

Our client is seeking a skilled Prep Technician to join their team within a busy and reputable motor trade main dealer. You need to be a team player, capable of meeting deadlines, and able to take initiative in your work.

Prep Technician Responsibilities:

  • Conduct preparation work on vehicles, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standard
  • Efficiently complete work within manufacturer’s scheduled times to maintain productivity
  • Accurately record all details of work completed, including components used, in line with group and manufacturer standards
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers at all levels, ensuring polite and efficient interactions
  • Uphold high levels of customer satisfaction at all times

The Ideal Prep Technician:

  • Qualified to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience post-qualification in a similar role within a reputable dealership
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong technical knowledge
  • Valid driving license
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility for the quality and quantity of your work

You must be able to deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment, motivated by set targets and demonstrating flexibility to meet the needs of your team.
