We are working with a specialist business based in Newcastle who are looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join their team on a permanent basis.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of industrial hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Service, Repair of Hydraulic/Pneumatic bolting equipment
- Calibration and Testing of Hydraulic/Pneumatic bolting equipment
- Service, Repair, of hydraulic/pneumatic/manual Industrial equipment
- Testing and Calibration of hydraulic/pneumatic/manual Industrial equipment
- Creating Test and Calibration certificates
- Fault Finding and Trouble shooting
- Supporting the stores especially when absent and during busy times
- Assembly of new equipment
Knowledge & Experience
- Controlled Bolting Equipment Maintenance & Repair skills
- Industrial Hydraulic Equipment Maintenance & Repair skills
- Calibration Knowledge
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Experience in the industrial sector is a plus
- Time Served in Mechanical Engineering or related field
