The Company you will work for;

Mtrec Commercial are proudly representing our highly established and successful logistics client on their search for an experienced Senior Freight Forwarder to join the company as soon as possible. If you have the skills and experience required, please apply for an immediate response!

The Role you will be doing;

• Managing all Road, Sea and Air Freight.
• Considering and planning the most effective route for freight.
• Organising the transportation of freight.
• Tracking the movement of Road, Sea and Air Freight.
• Reporting back to clients, keeping them up-to-date with the progress of goods
• Deciding on the best way to package stock, taking into account factors such as weather, terrain and type of goods
• Taking appropriate measures for the movement of delicate goods
• Checking countries’ legal requirements to make sure all the appropriate documentation (eg insurance and customs forms) is filled out
• Staying up-to-date with relevant political activities and legislation that might impact the transportation of freight
• Organising payments or processes transactions on behalf of the client, such as freight charges.

About you;

• Proven experience in a Senior or Supervisory level within a Freight Forwarding role is essential.
• Experience in Road, Sea and Air Freight is essential.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent organisation skills and able to prioritise tasks.
• Driven and focused individual.
