Landscape Architect Job in Newcastle, Tyne and Wear

This Landscape Architect Job offers the chance to work on large-scale projects from concept to completion on healthcare, education, public realm, and commercial developments. Due to the scope of the work they currently have and their growth plans for their landscape team they also encourage Senior Landscape Architect to apply.

My client is a multidisciplinary AJ100 practice with 6 offices across the UK and a global presence, The projects you will directly work on will be primarily UK-based with some international ones. You will be working within a team of 10 based out of the Newcastle office with a mix of Associates, seniors, mid-levels and trainees.

Role & Responsibilities

  • From initial design to site works, you'll take charge and lead the entire process on a range of projects including Healthcare, education, public realm - this is your chance to put your stamp on a variety of projects

  • You'll be the point of contact for clients and consultants, making sure everyone's on the same page

  • Supporting junior team members is key, we're looking for someone who enjoys sharing knowledge and ensuring everyone works together to get the job done

  • Reporting to the Landscape Director and Associates.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience running projects from concept to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and client expectations are met

  • Experience in healthcare, education, and public realm projects, with the ability to adapt to various project scales.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, and team members

  • Experience with Revit is highly desirable, though training can be provided if necessary

  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment

  • Ideally, you will be chartered but if not they can also support your progression with this.
