- Assisting with opening and closing client files using the firm’s practice management system
- Communicating with clients, estate agents, and third parties to ensure smooth progress of conveyancing transactions
- Conducting ID verification, AML checks, and media searches
- Preparing legal documents for property transactions
- Assisting with post-completion matters, including liaising with the Land Registry for pre-completion searches
- Supporting with drafting contracts, memorandums of exchange, and other legal documentation
- Managing financial tasks such as creating paying-in slips and requisitioning payments
- Experience working as a Conveyancing Assistant or in a related administrative role within a Conveyancing environment
- Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and database systems
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy team
- Great communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work collaboratively
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- A proactive, can-do attitude with strong initiative and problem-solving skills
