Sonic Summary
- We are seeking a Facilities Manager with a Hard Services or Technical bias for a prestigious estate in the Wearside area.
- This permanent position offers a salary of up to £45,000 per year.
- The role requires a minimum of previous experience in the Facilities Management sector, particularly in hard services and technical compliance.
- Working hours are Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours per week, with on-site parking available.
- Key responsibilities include managing maintenance services, ensuring statutory compliance, and overseeing soft services like cleaning and catering.
Main Duties:
Manage Facilities Services on the estate including:
M&E Maintenance
Statutory compliance
H&S auditing
Update asset lists, schedules and instruction sets on the computerised maintenance management system.
Ensure that you plan the labour, schedule the tasks and ensure the effective completion of the PPM & reactive works both direct & sub-contractors
Contribute to the appraisal of staff
Direct client liaison and partnering approach to the Facilities Services
Ensure that Risk Assessments, COSHH records and safe methods of work records are held on each site
Oversee soft services including cleaning and catering
Requirements:
Previous experience in the Facilities Management Sector
Experience of hard services and technical compliance/PPM's etc.
Working knowledge of SFG20/CAFM/Concept, Excel, IT Skills
Excellent client facing and man-management skills
Able and willing to clear a security clearance
