About the Role:
Seeking a Site Manager to oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of a new solvent tank farm and solvent transfer system. This is a pivotal role that requires an individual with a proven track record in managing complex industrial projects, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the site, including health and safety, schedules, budgets, and workforce coordination.
- Supervise demolition, groundworks, bund casting, and installation of specialized systems such as process infrastructure, pipebridges, and sprinkler/vapor recovery systems.
- Oversee and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
- Liaise with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with HSE and CDM regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality control and safety standards.
- Manage commissioning and handover processes.
Required Qualifications:
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
- CSCS Black Card or equivalent certification.
- First Aid Certification.
- NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent safety management qualification).
- NVQ Level 6 or 7 in Construction Management.
- Strong knowledge of HSE and CDM Regulations.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Experience in managing projects involving solvent handling, process systems, and industrial infrastructure.
- Background in vessel fabrication, bund casting, and sprinkler systems.
- Proficiency in project management, cost control, and procurement processes.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
