Are you an experienced Site Manager? Do you have experience on education projects?

A construction company in Gosforth is seeking to employ a Site Manager to manage a school project. The right candidate must have experience working with externals, new builds and internals.

The role is to start ASAP and is for 8 weeks.

Role

• Monday to Friday
• 320 per day umbrella (PAYE also available)- rate negotiable for the right person
• Site based role
• 8 weeks
• Gosforth

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project stakeholders, subcontractors and local authorities.
• Supervise all trades and labour, as well as co-ordinate the activities of all the trades and disciplines involved on the site so that all operations.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve site efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Supervising a large team.
• Monitor and manage site budget and expenses.
• Strong knowledge of construction and working processes.
• Strong experience working on externals.
• Strong experience working on school extensions/new builds.
• Experience working on leisure facilities/pools.
• Project planning.
• Address any issues or concerns raised by clients or staff members.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to site activities.
• Maintain the site diary and arrange meetings with customers/clients.
• Toolbox talks.

Requirements

• SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid Certificate.
• Strong communication, leadership and management skills.
• Proficient in using computer software related to site management.
• Tier 1 experience.
• Education experience.
