Mechanical Engineer - Contract Role in Newcastle Upon Tyne
We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a skilled Mechanical Engineer at an established Subsea client based in the vibrant city of Newcastle. This contract position extends over 6 months and includes hybrid working options along with competitive pay, ideal for professionals seeking flexibility combined with a challenging role.
Key Requirements:
- Proficiency in Autodesk 3D Inventor: You will need strong skills in Autodesk's premier 3D CAD software which is crucial for design simulations and presentations.
- Experience with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) using Ansys: Your expertise should cover utilising FEA tools to predict how product designs react under stress, vibrations, heat or other physical effects.
- Knowledgeable about ROVs (Remotely Operated Vehicles): Given our focus on sub sea exploration and operations; experience designing or engineering components related directly to ROVs will be essential.
