The Job Youll Do;

  • Leading the repair and maintenance of all assembly and press tooling equipment in a timely manner.
  • Leading planned maintenance activities, including technical improvement activities.
  • Effective diagnosis and timely repair of equipment to maximise machine availability.
  • Perform scheduled and planned maintenance to reduce breakdowns and improve equipment performance and reliability.
  • Leads in geometry improvement activities from technical understanding.
  • Adhering to quality standards and requirements, including all QMS related items.
  • Supporting and championing the intervention process and escalation procedure.
  • Adhering to all legal and safety requirements including; PUWER Power press regulations, lifting and slinging.
  • Supporting the procurement and management of spare parts and tools required.
  • Adhering to and entry of RPO and MTTR data (documentation of jobs/hours completed through electronic reporting methods).
  • Support the development of Engineering apprentices through knowledge and skill sharing.
  • The completion of housekeeping and maintaining cleanliness within own and related areas.

About You;

  • Recognised apprenticeship in Die Maintenance or Tool Making.
  • ONC or equivalent level qualification.
  • Manufacturing or relevant engineering experience
  • Be proactive and autonomous in workload management.
  • Be able to follow instructions, maintaining composure in pressurised situations.
  • Be able to communicate at all levels of the business.
  • Be able to prioritise fluctuations in workload, asking for support when needed.
  • Be analytical, methodical and structured approach to fault finding.
  • Work cross-functionally/collaboratively to support achievement of shared goals and objectives.
