Field Service Technician

I have an immediate opening for a Field Service Technician to be based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, working for the world’s largest independent supplier of lubrication solutions. The successful candidate will travel to customer sites in the North East and will manage and action all fluid management activities on site.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for an established and reputable company and will be suited to a candidate who has a mechanical aptitude. Full training on the company’s products will be given.

Field Service Technician Responsibilities:

• Provide service visits and cover at various other customer locations for our 'Total Fluid Management' operations.
• Carry out routine technical support visits for the purposes of fluids monitoring and equipment condition monitoring.
• Provide on-site fluid management at customer sites.
• Assist with small engineering projects associated with fluids handling e.g. oil storage, pipework, pump installations etc.
• Assist with lubrication plant surveys, product trials and machine cleanouts etc.

Field Service Technician Requirements:

• The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a mechanical environment and will have carried out service and maintenance.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Flexibiity towards occasional overnight stays and start and finish times depending on customer requirements.
