Our client is a dynamic and down-to-earth consultancy in the construction industry, currently looking to recruit an Office Manager. This role offers the opportunity to take on a variety of administrative and finance tasks in a fun, energetic, and vibrant workspace. With a close-knit team of around 15, the company fosters a positive and lively office culture where flexibility around working hours is encouraged, while the team enjoys working in the office together.The RoleAs the Office Manager, you will serve as the backbone of the office, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of operations. Your key responsibilities will include:Managing and sending out invoicesOverseeing office management tasks such as ordering supplies (stationery, kitchen items, etc.) and arranging catering when neededProviding general administrative support, including filing, archiving, and general typingDiary and travel managementOrganising staff meetings, team socials, annual events, and company-wide gatheringsAssisting with office policies and procedures, including memberships, insurances, and accreditationsCoordinating health & safety (H&S) requirementsHandling HR duties such as employee inductions, pensions, contracts, holidays, and sick leaveAssisting with monthly timesheets, invoicing processes, and client communicationUtilising Microsoft Office, Sage Line 50, and Excel for office operationsExperience RequiredWe are seeking a candidate who can demonstrate previous experience in both accounts and office administration.
