HLTA Post 16 

WE are recruiting on behalf of an Ofsted graded "Good" provision in Newcastle and require a motivated and capable HLTA to help predominately with the delivery of functional skills and GCSE to Post 16 pupils. This role would be perfect for a TA ready to make the step up to HLTA or and English Graduate who is looking to develop further skills 

The provision offers various vocational qualifications and most Learners who attend are still looking to gain and English Qualification. Working closely with the Lead Tutors you will help deliver, plan and assess English Lessons.

The provision is really well run and friendly

It is based in the west of Newcastle and is easy to reach Via car or public Transport. This HLTA role will commence in January 2025

We ask That you have

  1.  An appropriate degree level qualification in English or 6 months minimum experience in a school setting.
  2. A DBS already on the Update Service or be willing to complete a new application URGENTLY 
  3. A fantastic attitude with a flair for reaching learners who may struggle or may be excelling 
  4. The willingness learn how to plan, produce and teach
  5. Patience and great rapport building skills- able to reach reluctant learners

Full time availability is required Monday to Friday 8.30-4.30
