A new opportunity for a Quality Inspector has arisen within an exciting organisation.

Working as part of the inspection team you will be trusted partner responsible for ensuring that all manufactured products in the fabrication and welding area fully conform to customer requirements, whilst maintaining the companys focus on safety, quality, cost and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspection of fabricated & welded components Dimensionally, Visual & NDT to ensure the correct quality
  • Calibration and validate monitoring and measuring equipment prior to use
  • Liaise with engineering team to clarify inspection and testing requirements
  • Liaise with goods inward for the inspection of raw materials, components and associated certification
  • Support the production team with in-process inspection and testing of components for manufacture
  • Maintain product traceability and compliance to required standards
  • Quarantine and identify non-conforming parts to ensure all product non-conformances are accurately reported
  • Support problem-solving activities and investigations where product or process non-conformance has been identified
  • Contribute to quality led improvement initiatives and support quality performance

Experience, Skills:

  • Relevant experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in reading, understanding and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
  • Competent with manual inspection processes using equipment such as tapes, rules, and squares
  • Ability to write clear and concise inspection reports and work with both metric and imperial units
  • CSWIP 3.1 certified
  • PCN Level 2 MPI
  • PCN Level 2 Dye Pen
