Calibre Search are looking to speak with Senior level Project Managers who would be interested in joining an award-winning construction consultancy who are globally renowned for their high profile and efficient delivery of projects.
This role will be part of their ambitious and small but growing project management team based in Newcastle.
Their current workload consists of various office developments, retail fit outs, higher education and public sector construction projects valued from 10 million all the way up to 100 million.
Ideally, you will have a number of years under your belt already working via consultancy or client side role acting as a Quantity Surveyor/Employers Agent or Project Manager confident in overseeing high profile construction projects through the early RIBA Stages working via JCT/NEC where applicable.

Duties/Requirements:
- Conduct feasibility studies, including site surveys, site investigation, site evaluation etc
- Interview and select contractors for tendering or negotiation, evaluate tenders received and appoint contractor
- Inspect and monitor the construction works about quality and conformity to agreed specifications and drawings
- Prepare regular reports to clients on all aspects of the project including progress, programme, costs, risks and quality management
- Client liaising and chairing meetings throughout the project life cycle
- Ideally having relevant qualifications being MRICS/MAPM or close to achieving
- Previous construction/property consultancy experience as a Project Manager or Quantity Surveyor
- Being presentable at all times and have a keen interest in delivering projects to a high standard
