Public Relations Officer

Part Time 2.5 days 18.5 hours a week

Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for an experienced Public Relations Officer to join a social housing organisation on a temporary basis

Responsibilities of the Public Relations Officer

  • Create and manage a bank of case studies which promote services and projects across the organisations and amplify the customer voice, to support with wider communications and influencing activity
  • Assist with the coordination/arrangement of PR and stakeholder engagement events and photo opportunities
  • Liaise with the necessary internal colleagues and external partners on the sign off of all content produced
  • Liaise with key suppliers - photographers, videographers, creative agencies, printers etc
  • Monitor media coverage and produce weekly and monthly evaluation reports

Essential for the Public Relations Officer:

  • Track record of developing and sustaining effective working relationships with colleagues at varying levels of seniority
  • A good understanding of effective media relations
  • A record of demonstrable achievement in a similar role
  • Good understanding of social media channels and how to use them
