Sellick Partnership is currently assisting an organisation with recruiting an IT Category Manager. This is a permanent opportunity with hybrid working.
Responsibilities of the IT Category Manager include:
- Strategic Management of the IT & Telecom Category
- Lead the development of procurement strategies in close cooperation with business operations and procurement stakeholders activating all spend reduction levers
- Conduct comprehensive spend analyses, assessing current and future business needs
- Proactively identify opportunities to drive value across the entire procurement spectrum
- Adapt strategy in response to changes
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience within a procurement/category role
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
- Excellent influencing skills
- CIPS Level 5 (desirable)
