IT Category Manager

Sellick Partnership is currently assisting an organisation with recruiting an IT Category Manager. This is a permanent opportunity with hybrid working.

Responsibilities of the IT Category Manager include:

  • Strategic Management of the IT & Telecom Category
  • Lead the development of procurement strategies in close cooperation with business operations and procurement stakeholders activating all spend reduction levers
  • Conduct comprehensive spend analyses, assessing current and future business needs
  • Proactively identify opportunities to drive value across the entire procurement spectrum
  • Adapt strategy in response to changes

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience within a procurement/category role
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
  • Excellent influencing skills
  • CIPS Level 5 (desirable)
